Privacy policy

This policy explains what happens to personal data you give us through this website: what we collect, why, who sees it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it. It is written to satisfy India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and to be understandable without a lawyer.

1. Scope

This policy covers thinqmesh.com, the forms on it, the Upfyn download offered from it, and signing in to Thinqmesh Academy with Google.

Links to other sites. This site links to sites with their own privacy policies: upfyn.com, orfyn.in, learn.thinqmesh.com, and cal.com, where you pick a time for a call. When you leave this site, the site you arrive on is responsible for what it collects.

Children. This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

2. Personal information we collect

We collect only what you give us. If you do not contact us, we hold no personal data about you.

The enquiry form ("How can we help you?" on the home page) asks for your first and last name, work email, company and country, and optionally your job title and a message. We also record your two consent choices, described in sections 4 and 5, and when you made them.

The Upfyn download asks for your name, email address and phone number before the download starts, and we record that the details came from the Upfyn download.

Email. If you write to us, we have whatever your email contains.

Visiting the site. There are no advertising trackers on this site and no profiling. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not use your data to target advertising anywhere.

If — and only if — you choose "Accept" on the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It records the page you viewed, roughly where in the world you are, and what kind of device and browser you used. It never receives your name, your email address, your company or your phone number, and nothing you type into a form is sent to it.

If you choose "Essential only", or ignore the banner, nothing is loaded and no request is made to Google at all. That is the whole of the difference: not a quieter kind of tracking, none.

3. How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry.
• To hold the call you asked for and, if we go on to work together, to deliver and administer that engagement.
• If you downloaded Upfyn, to help you get it running and to tell you about it.
• To send you updates — only if you ticked the box asking for them (section 4).

We do not sell your data. We do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

4. Updates and your preferences

The enquiry form has a separate, optional box: "I would like to receive updates from Thinqmesh". It starts unticked, and leaving it unticked changes nothing about how we handle your enquiry.

If you tick it, we may send you news about our services, our products such as Upfyn and Orfyn, and Thinqmesh Academy. We record when you gave that consent.

You can stop them at any time: use the unsubscribe link in any update, or write to support@thinqmesh.com. We then stop sending them; it does not affect your enquiry.

5. Consent

Submitting a form is consent for us to use what you entered for the purpose that form states. On the enquiry form you confirm this by ticking the privacy box, which is required; receiving updates is a separate consent, given only by ticking its own box.

You may withdraw any consent at any time by writing to support@thinqmesh.com, and we will delete your data unless we are legally required to keep it — for example, invoices we must retain for tax purposes. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything done while it was in force.

Analytics is a separate consent, and a separate decision. It is off until you choose "Accept" on the cookie banner, choosing "Essential only" is a complete refusal rather than a reduced amount, and neither choice has any effect on the enquiry you send us or on how we handle it.

6. Sharing with third parties

Only Thinqmesh staff who need it to reply to you or deliver your project see your data.

We use third-party services for email delivery and payment processing. They process data only on our instruction and only for that purpose. We do not pass your data to anyone else, and there is no advertising network involved at any point.

If you book a call through cal.com, you enter your details on cal.com's site, under its own privacy policy.

7. Where it is stored

What you send through our forms is stored in our own database. It sits on servers we control, in a private network that is not open to the internet. Only we can reach it.

We record the time you gave each consent, so we can show when you agreed and to what.

We do not use a third-party form service. Your enquiry does not pass through anyone else's system on its way to us.

8. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become engagements: 12 months, then deleted.

Client records: for the engagement, then as long as tax and accounting law requires, then deleted.

Your consent to receive updates lasts until you withdraw it; you are then taken off the list.

9. Data protection and confidentiality

Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access to enquiry data is restricted to staff who need it. Our systems do not log the contents of what you submit — form data is never written to an application log.

10. Anti-spam

We do not buy or rent email lists, and we do not send bulk email to people who have not asked for it. Updates go only to people who ticked the box for them, and every update tells you how to stop receiving it.

11. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct anything inaccurate or incomplete
• Erase your data where we are not legally required to keep it
• Withdraw consent at any time, including to updates
• Nominate another person to exercise these rights if you cannot
• Complain to us, and then to the Data Protection Board of India

Write to support@thinqmesh.com to exercise any of these. We will respond within 30 days.

12. Signing in with Google

This section covers Thinqmesh Technologies Private Limited applications that offer "Sign in with Google" — currently Thinqmesh Academy, at learn.thinqmesh.com. You sign in there with your Thinqmesh account, through our own account service, and that service is the part that talks to Google. Its sign-in pages are served from upx.thinqmesh.com. This section applies in addition to the sections above.

What we receive. When you choose to sign in with Google, Google sends us your email address, your basic profile information (name and profile picture), and a Google account identifier. We receive nothing else.

What we do with it. We use it solely to create and authenticate your account, and to address you correctly inside the application. Your email is used for account and service messages.

What we do not do. We do not read, send or manage your Gmail. We do not access your Google Drive, Calendar, Contacts, or any other Google service. We request only basic sign-in information and nothing more.

Storage. Your Google account identifier and email are stored against your Thinqmesh account so you can sign in again. They are held on infrastructure we control.

Sharing. We do not transfer Google user data to anyone. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to build profiles.

Limited use. Thinqmesh Technologies Private Limited's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Removing it. Disconnect Thinqmesh in your Google account permissions at any time, or email support@thinqmesh.com to have your account and its data deleted.

13. Cookies

This site sets no advertising cookies, and nothing is set before you choose.

When the page first loads we store one thing on your device: your answer to the cookie banner. It records "accept" or "essential only" and nothing else, so that we do not ask again on every page.

If you choose "Accept", Google Analytics then sets its own cookies to recognise a repeat visit and to tell one session from another. If you choose "Essential only", it is never loaded and sets nothing.

The Upfyn download offer stores two more markers in your browser — not cookies, and neither holds anything about you. One remembers that you closed the offer, and lasts only until you close the tab. The other remembers that you already filled in the download form, so we never ask you again.

Changing your mind. Clear this site's data in your browser and the banner returns, so you can answer it differently. Clearing it also removes any Google Analytics cookies that were set.

14. Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page. For anything significant affecting people who have already contacted us, we will say so directly.
