Privacy policy

This policy explains what happens to personal data you give us through this website. It is written to satisfy India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and to be understandable without a lawyer.

1. What we collect

We collect only what you give us. If you do not contact us, we hold no personal data about you.

When you book a working session or email us, we collect: your name, your work email address, your company, and whatever you tell us about what you are trying to fix. If you choose to give a phone number, we collect that too.

There are no advertising trackers on this site and no profiling. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not use your data to target advertising anywhere.

If — and only if — you choose "Accept" on the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It records the page you viewed, roughly where in the world you are, and what kind of device and browser you used. It never receives your name, your email address, your company or your phone number, and nothing you type into a form is sent to it.

If you choose "Essential only", or ignore the banner, nothing is loaded and no request is made to Google at all. That is the whole of the difference: not a quieter kind of tracking, none.

2. Why we collect it

To reply to you, to hold the working session you asked for, and — if we go on to work together — to deliver and administer that engagement. That is the entire purpose.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

3. Consent

You give consent by submitting a form or emailing us. You may withdraw it at any time by writing to anit@thinqmesh.com, and we will delete your data unless we are legally required to keep it — for example, invoices we must retain for tax purposes.

Analytics is a separate consent, and a separate decision. It is off until you choose "Accept" on the cookie banner, choosing "Essential only" is a complete refusal rather than a reduced amount, and neither choice has any effect on the enquiry you send us or on how we handle it.

Withdrawing consent does not affect anything done while it was in force.

4. Where it is stored

What you send through the form is stored in our own database. It sits on servers we control, in a private network that is not open to the internet. Only we can reach it.

We record the time you gave consent, so we can show when you agreed and to what.

We do not use a third party form service. Your enquiry does not pass through anyone else's system on its way to us.

5. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become engagements: 12 months, then deleted.

Client records: for the engagement, then as long as tax and accounting law requires, then deleted.

6. Who else sees it

Only Thinqmesh staff who need it to reply to you or deliver your project.

We use third-party services for email delivery and payment processing. They process data only on our instruction and only for that purpose. We do not pass your data to anyone else, and there is no advertising network involved at any point.

7. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct anything inaccurate or incomplete
• Erase your data where we are not legally required to keep it
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Nominate another person to exercise these rights if you cannot
• Complain to us, and then to the Data Protection Board of India

8. Signing in with Google

This section covers Thinqmesh Technologies applications that offer "Sign in with Google" — currently UpX, at upx.thinqmesh.com. It applies in addition to the sections above.

What we receive. When you choose to sign in with Google, Google sends us your email address, your basic profile information (name and profile picture), and a Google account identifier. We receive nothing else.

What we do with it. We use it solely to create and authenticate your account, and to address you correctly inside the application. Your email is used for account and service messages.

What we do not do. We do not read, send or manage your Gmail. We do not access your Google Drive, Calendar, Contacts, or any other Google service. We request only basic sign-in information and nothing more.

Storage. Your Google account identifier and email are stored against your Thinqmesh account so you can sign in again. They are held on infrastructure we control.

Sharing. We do not transfer Google user data to anyone. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to build profiles.

Limited use. Thinqmesh Technologies' use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Removing it. Disconnect Thinqmesh in your Google account permissions at any time, or email anit@thinqmesh.com to have your account and its data deleted.

9. Cookies

This site sets no advertising cookies, and nothing is set before you choose.

When the page first loads we store one thing on your device: your answer to the cookie banner. It records "accept" or "essential only" and nothing else, so that we do not ask again on every page.

If you choose "Accept", Google Analytics then sets its own cookies to recognise a repeat visit and to tell one session from another. If you choose "Essential only", it is never loaded and sets nothing.

Changing your mind. Clear this site's data in your browser and the banner returns, so you can answer it differently. Clearing it also removes any Google Analytics cookies that were set.

10. Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access to enquiry data is restricted to staff who need it. Our systems do not log the contents of what you submit — form data is never written to an application log.

11. Children

This site is aimed at businesses and not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

12. Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page. For anything significant affecting people who have already contacted us, we will say so directly.

13. Complaints

Raise it with us first at anit@thinqmesh.com — we would rather fix it. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
