Scope

A four-week timeline is only honest if its edges are published. Both lists below are part of the written scope agreed before work starts.

What the adaptation covers

  • Your org structure, roles and approval chains
  • Your leave policy, holiday calendar and accrual rules
  • Employee records migrated from your existing sheets or system
  • Branding, domain and email templates
  • Payroll inputs exported in your payroll provider's format

What it does not

  • Running payroll itself, or filing statutory returns
  • Fingerprint readers or door-entry hardware
  • A separate phone app. It works in a phone browser instead
  • Moving data out of a system that cannot export it

In detail

HRKit is not a prototype, and it is not a case study. It is the HR system we run our own company on, in production, today.

That is the whole point. When we say four weeks, we are not guessing how long it takes to build an HR system from nothing. We are telling you how long it takes to fit one that already works to the way your company runs.

What you are actually looking at

In a scoping conversation we open Upfyn Desktop and walk you through the real data behind HRKit. How records are put together. How approvals move. What the reporting looks like after a year of real use.

We do not hand out web addresses to the running system, because it holds real staff data. You see how the system behaves and what it produces, not a tidy demo built for the call.

Why the limits matter

The list above is deliberately blunt about what four weeks does not cover. A fixed date only means something if both sides know where it stops.

Payroll filing and door-entry hardware really are outside it. If you need them, that is a separate conversation with its own date, not a surprise in week three.
